Day Pass From House

I was finally let out of the house today. Whee!! I've been under "house arrest" since having my wisdom teeth taken out Friday. Was so incredibly bored all day yesterday. Made family members play games in order to entertain me. LOL.

But ya, we went and saw the 40 Year Old Virgin today. It was sooo funny. Been wanting to see that since the first preview that I saw and it was so worth it. It does go a little slow, but the last 10 minutes totally makes up for it. It's just insane seeing what this guy goes through. Totally go see it if you haven't yet.

Then we went and ate at Pei-Wei. If you've eaten at P.F. Chang's, then you've had Pei-Wei. It's just a teeny little version of it. Doesn't have as big of a selection as Chang's but it's got some stuff that's totally different. But it's still totally great Chinese food. If it's Chinese and not Japanese. It's not like I really know the difference here. LOL. It just tastes good. Got to eat most of it before I had to quit cuz all the chewing was beginning to hurt my jaw. So far, food hasn't bothered the inside of my mouth, just the whole chewing movement has.

Then we went to JC Penny's Homestore and to Bed Bath and Beyond. M&D have been on this quest to find a rug for the living room to put under the coffee table. I don't think we need one cuz damnit I put in 2 summers of laying down hardwood floor. It's not supposed to be covered up. But anyway, they dropped me off before the went to Home Depot where they actually found a rug. Of course, I don't really like it. They all look so old and out of place w/ all the weird flowers and yucky colors. I'm taking bets to see how long it takes before someone trips over the corner of it. However, they did bring home ice cream, so I had to forgive them a little.
